| Advertising Agencies Association of Nepal was established 1990 with a view to protect and promote the rights and welfare of the advertising agencies in Nepal. As the apex body of advertising agencies, it has been playing a very vital role in the advertising sector. As of today, 60 advertising agencies are associated with AAAN.
Objectives
To protect and promote the rights and welfare of advertising agencies
To play the role as a coordinator between the all registered
advertising agencies, advertisers, HMG policy makers
as well as the consumers
To facilitate its members
To provide effective and standard quality service
To build professionalism in the advertising sector
Activities
Crity Awards, the first of
its kind in Nepal is meant to acknowledge and honour
excellence in the Nepali advertising sector.
AAAN has also arranged the broadcast of various international
events through the National Television Channel Nepal
Television like FIFA World Cup-1998, Sydney Olympic-2000,
Euro Cup 2000, etc.
In the future AAAN will be relaunching the Ad Club of
Nepal, an exclusive club for Nepali advertising professionals,
a Media Monitoring Agency Unit to effectively regulate
and monitor Nepali media, Media Research to provide
reliable, true and unbiased statistics, and Telly Awards,
an award for recognizing and acknowledging excellence
in TV broadcasting, production, programming and reporting.
Efforts are underway to organize a three-day mega advertising
seminar in Nepal in the near future. |
